The first chart displays the different communication training methods of personnel in an international organization, while the second chart details the motives behind availing of such training.
Overall, the bulk of the respondents preferred to train part-time, with most opting for evening classes. The primary motivation for undergoing training was for holiday travels, not work.
Nearly two-thirds of the organization’s personnel opted to train part-time. The majority of them attended communication training in the evening (39%), while 22% joined weekend training sessions. Interestingly, another 22% of employees took the initiative to enhance their communication on their own, though how they did it was not shared. Only 12% felt the need to join an intensive training class to improve their communication skills, while the remaining 5% enrolled in distance learning, presumably with a university or review center elsewhere.
As for their motives, surprisingly, communication training was mainly for holiday travels (46%), possibly to improve their social interaction with the people they expected to meet. But only 10%, the lowest-ranked reason, said they trained to communicate better with clients. Seventeen percent claimed it was to help with business travels, and 14% took communication classes because they liked the course. The motives, however, of the remaining 13% were not disclosed.
