The diagram shows the process of making pulp and paper.
Overall, there are eleven stages or more depending on whether the outcome is paper bales or paper rolls. The process begins with the cutting down of trees, then the pulp is created and cleaned. Finally, the process flows to the creation of rough paper or refined paper.
First, trees are cut down to produce the logs which are the base material for the procedure. Then, the logs are chipped and mixed with purchased chips in the digester. From this, pulp is created and moved into washers and then purified through a screen.
In the rough-paper-making process, the cleaned pulp initially is put into the pulp former and is then dried by using a pulp dryer. Subsequently, the material is processed by pulp reel and cut into pieces. In the end, the final product is used for paper bales.
In the process of producing printing paper, the pulp is first cleaned again and then dried in the same method as the rough paper. Following that, the pulp is pressed by pulp presses and paper presses and later moved into paper dryers for the final drying process. Finally, when the paper is dry, it is rolled up for printing.
