社区中心改造

The given illustrations present the development of a community center after ten years. Overall, though significant portions of the community center remained unchanged, other areas were renovated to cater to the public's recreational needs.

A decade ago, the community center was more business-like. It had a large hall at the center, which could seat 100 people, and it had four small offices at the upper right corner. The building had much storage space: a big storage area was behind the hall, while a medium-sized one was beside the kitchen. For relaxation, there was a coffee bar behind the reception, next to the toilets. There was also a garden at the top left, adjacent to the car park.

After substantial renovations, the community center today functions more like a recreational center. Much of the center's key areas remain the same, namely the hall (still seats 100 people), parking area, kitchen, reception, and the front toilets. However, there is now a large cafe area in place of the offices and medium-sized storage. The garden has become an indoor sports area. The large storage space was divided to create another toilet area. Finally, the coffee bar was converted into the only office.
