The line graph displays the production changes of three clothing items made in a garment factory between 1990 and 2010.
Overall, the production of all three clothing apparel generally grew over the years. Coat production was the only one that did not suffer a decline; it was also the most produced clothing item.
Among the three products, it was only coat production that steadily grew during the given two decades. In 1990, around 7 million coats were churned out, and this figure more than doubled to roughly 18 million coats ten years later. By 2010, the factory had manufactured 25 million coats. The suit was the next most in-demand garment produced. At the start of the period, 15 million suits were created, the highest for the year. Suit production increased sharply over the next five years, reaching its peak of 23 million. But then production declined, falling to around 16 million in 2005. At the end of the period, the factory made approximately 19 million suits for interested buyers.
The least-produced garment was the dress. Though dress production generally increased, it did not reach the same levels as the other two clothing items. In 1990, 10 million dresses were sewn, and by 2010, dress production levels had reached 15 million.
