The pie charts illustrate the reasons why undergraduates and postgraduates from Vaster University chose to study there.
30% of undergraduates considered the reputation of the university to be the decisive factor when making a decision about where to study, and the rate is even higher for students enrolled in postgraduate programs. Cost is another important factor which more postgraduates (36%) would take into consideration than students of the other category.
Interestingly, personal recommendation, availability of accommodation and location all mattered less to postgraduates than to undergraduates. Only 7% of postgraduate students made the decision to attend the university based on a personal recommendation, which was significantly lower than the percentage for undergraduate students. The number of postgraduates who paid attention to accommodation was just 30% of those who were pursuing their bachelor’s degree. Location seems to affect undergraduates to a larger extent with 10% which almost doubled the rate for postgraduates.
Overall, reputation and cost were the most important features for undergraduates at Vaster University, with these two factors being even more highly regarded by postgraduate students.
