I am in response to your recent advertisement in the newspaper for senior care positions in the nursing home. I have a soft spot in my heart for the elderly and I always find it fulfilling to work with them, which is why I am applying for this position.
Although I have never worked in a nursing home before, I have some relevant skills and experience, which would make me a good candidate for this position. To be specific, I have a good understanding of the nutritional needs of old people, so offering diet advice to individual resident in your nursing house based on their health status is my expertise. I also have no problem with catering for personal hygiene needs, like cleaning their teeth, nails and washing their hair. Moreover, I was a primary caregiver for my grandparents before they passed away, and I received many compliments from family members and friends regarding my abilities to care for them.
