Dear Sir or Madam,
I am a resident of our local community who is quite fond of books, and one of my advocacies is to get teens to love reading. Thus, I am writing to share a few suggestions to improve our library.
First off, I commend the current efforts to revamp the local library. The place looks more modern, and it is also more spacious, making it more conducive for reading and studying. Also, the wifi connection is finally strong enough to reach all the floors: no more dead spots.
However, the teen’s section has been lumped in with the children’s area, and the books teens enjoy, such as fantasy and sci-fi novels, are very few. I understand many young children and adult researchers visit the library, but efforts must be made to attract teens so they can develop their love for reading.
Therefore, I suggest a separate section for teens to read and have quiet conversations. Young people often want to socialize, so making the library a possible meeting spot can help draw them to reading once more. Furthermore, the reading options for teens should be improved. A better collection may entice more of them to visit, as books are expensive.
