Overall, the refrigerator manufacturing time for all the given companies sped up after a decade, with Company A able to manufacture fridges significantly faster than the other two.
Among the businesses, Company A eventually had the fastest manufacturing time, though it was not the case at the beginning. In 1990, it took 30 hours for Company A to produce a fridge. But ten years later, their production time was reduced to approximately 22 hours, considerably lower than the two other companies.
Company B had the second fastest production time at the end of the period, though the improvement was marginal. In 1990, it took them around 27 hours to build a refrigerator, and the time declined to roughly 26 hours in 2000. On the other hand, Company C had the longest manufacturing time in 1990, taking 35 hours to manufacture a single fridge. The manufacturing upgrade, however, mirrored that of Company A as there was a marked improvement in Company C’s production time, falling to just 28 hours to make a fridge in 2000. Yet, it was still the slowest among the three.
